Freddie Mac prices US$4.50B offering of three-year reference notes due Nov. 25

– Government-controlled mortgage company Freddie Mac said Wednesday that it priced a $4.5 billion offering of three-year reference notes due Nov. 25, 2014.
The notes have an annual interest rate of 0.75 percent and are being issued at a price equal to 99.966 percent of their face value to yield 0.761 percent, or 34.5 basis points more than three-year U.S. Treasury notes.
The notes are scheduled to settle on Thursday.
The notes were offered via a syndicate of dealers headed by Barclays Capital, Citigroup Global Markets and UBS Investment Bank.
