LOS ANGELES , October 4, 2011 () – Ralcorp Holdings has completed its US$545 million acquisition of Sara Lee’s North American private brand refrigerated dough business, The St. Louis Business Journal reported Oct. 3.

The refrigerated dough business will operate as part of Ralcorp’s Frozen Bakery Products division. The dough business employs about 700 people, with manufacturing and distribution facilities in Carrollton, Texas, and Forest Park, Ga..

Ralcorp said the deal is expected to generate annual operational savings of around $6 million to $8 million after the third year.
