GLEN FALLS, New York , September 30, 2011 (press release) – Finch Paper LLC today announced the formation of a strategic partnership that will further enhance its growing digital printing paper portfolio.

The partnership with a progressive converting contractor with locations in the Mid-Atlantic and Midwest regions, will more than double Finch Paper’s digital sheeting capacity and provide just-in-time distribution for its customers.

“Finch Paper’s digital printing paper portfolio is in great demand, and this partnership provides yet another reason to ‘Go With Finch,’” said President & CEO Joseph F. Raccuia. “We are teaming with our partner to deliver precision-cut substrates using state-of-the-art technology — and we’re doing so from locations strategically located to service our customers from coast to coast.”

Mr. Raccuia said the converting partner shares Finch Paper’s commitment to customer service and product quality, and will add much-needed flexibility as digital printing equipment continues to evolve. Finch Paper will close its offsite paper converting facility, Northeast Custom Converting later this year. Finch Paper has operated the facility in Guilderland, New York since 2002. The move is one in a series of strategic initiatives to meet the growing demand for Finch digital products among the office supply, direct mail, and publishing market segments.
“Finch Paper has built a competitive advantage for itself with quick-turn, customized papers for specific end-uses,” Mr. Raccuia said. “We are aligning our business with a responsive company who can deliver added value to our customers.”
