Nevada-based geothermal power developer Ram Power names Shuman Moore president, CEO, effective Sept. 30; Moore previously was CEO for geothermal independent power producer Oski Energy

RENO, Nevada , September 29, 2011 (press release) – Ram Power, Corp. (TSX: RPG) ("Ram Power" or the "Company"), a renewable energy company focused on the development, production and sale of electricity from geothermal energy, announced today that it has named Shuman Moore as President and Chief Executive Officer, effective September 30, 2011. Mr. Moore is a seasoned renewable energy executive who comes to Ram Power from Oski Energy LLC ("Oski") a geothermal independent power producer ("IPP"). As Chief Executive Officer at Oski, he was instrumental in building the company from the ground up into a successful development and IPP company, with 11 projects in four states and one operating plant, all within 18 months. "We are pleased that Shuman has accepted the position as President and CEO of Ram Power," stated Antony Mitchell, Executive Chairman of Ram Power Corp. "He has exhibited over his long career a passion for renewable energy, and he has demonstrated strong leadership in a team oriented environment which the Company will require as it moves forward with the near term synchronization of the Phase I expansion at San Jacinto at the end of the year and the completion of the construction of the Phase II expansion in 2012. His ability to successfully lead a team combined with his experience in construction management and power plant operations, synchronization and power plant commissioning made him the best choice for the CEO role. Finally I would like to thank Walt Higgins for his leadership and guidance over the last seven months which enabled the Company to emerge through a difficult period poised to capitalize on both its asset base in San Jacinto and in the United States."

"I am excited to be part of the Ram team and I am looking forward to leading Ram Power through the commissioning and revenue generating stages of its San Jacinto project," commented Shuman Moore. "There is no doubt in my mind that Ram Power, its team and its projects can build upon the successes achieved under the leadership of the Ram Power Board of Directors over the last several months. I welcome the opportunity to transition the Company into a profitable operation, building shareholder value and maximizing the inherent growth potential of the Company."
