The FSC International Center on behalf of the FSC Board of Directors held elections for three seats of the FSC Board of Directors. Margareta Renström, Pedro Gonzalez Chaverri and Larry Joseph, have been elected to the FSC Board of Directors for a period of three years.
On Wednesday, February 9, 2011, the call for nominations was issued by the FSC International Center. The voting period opened on Wednesday, May 18, 2011 and closed on Wednesday, August 17, 2011.
On Friday, August 26, 2011, the electoral committee met in Bonn, Germany, to register and count the votes. Minutes of the proceedings were documented by an independent lawyer. The results of the 2011 FSC Board of Directors elections are as follows:

The elected members of the FSC Board of Directors will assume office at the meeting of the FSC Board of Directors in China in November 2011.
