“Having an interconnection agreement in place that doesn’t require transmission line upgrades is key to meeting the federal tax credit deadlines that are creeping up on the wind industry, and we’re pleased it has all worked out with the various transmission owners and operators to make sure all five interconnection facilities are built in time”, said Stephen Dryden, principal of RPM Access. Dryden also stated, “More importantly, we are very excited to be able to construct, own and operate another two wind farms for next year and add them to our very first owned wind project, the Elk Wind Farm, which is currently under construction and expected to go on-line this fall”.
