NV Energy (NYSE:NVE - News) has released its Corporate Responsibility and Sustainability Report for 2010, outlining the company's commitment to creating long-term sustainable value. The report summarizes NV Energy's achievements in multiple areas, including environmental management, renewable energy, community engagement, workforce development and conservation.
Highlights from the report include:
Reduced GHGs per customer by 29 percent over year 2000 levels.
Made significant reductions in emissions, particularly targeting opacity reductions at the company's coal-fired units.
Continued to deliver "best in class" service reliability.
Increased conservation options for customers.
