CHICAGO , August 17, 2011 () – Grains futures traded mixed Wednesday on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for December delivery added 6 cents to $7.58 a bushel; December corn dropped 2 cents to $7.255 a bushel; December oats shed 0.5 cent to $3.59 a bushel; and November soybeans jumped 17.25 cents to $13.6675 a bushel.

Beef and pork futures fell on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

October live cattle lost 2.77 cents to $1.1740 a pound; October feeder cattle fell 2.47 cents to $1.3635 a pound; while October lean hogs dropped 2 cents to 87.40 cents a pound.
