BRIDGEPORT, Connecticut , August 17, 2011 (press release) – Honey Cell, Inc. will be moving their Midwest operation, currently a 28,000 square foot facility, into a newly acquired 60,000 square foot building in Monroe, Ohio. Their Midwest facility, opened in 2007 in Hamilton, Ohio housed the manufacturing for kraft paper honeycomb panels, runners, diecuts and core. One of the owners, Bruce Padden, commented, “this facility will allow us to grow the business and further service the needs for quality honeycomb products throughout the Midwest for years to come.” The company chose the location in part to retain the entire workforce currently staffed in Hamilton. “The company is committed to the workforce as part of the family and therefore couldn’t fathom moving the facility into an area which would have required us to say goodbye to any of our employees”, commented another owner.

Honey Cell, Inc. is owned by a group of manufacturing and sales professionals who jointly own a number of packaging companies in New England. For more information on Honey Cell, Inc. visit their website at www.honeycell-inc.com
