The Oregon Department of Energy will hold a public hearing next week to seek input on draft administrative rules for the Biomass Producer or Collector Tax Credit program. The hearing will be from 9-11 a.m. on Tuesday, August 16, at the Oregon State Library (250 Winter St. NE).
The program provides tax credits for the production, collection and transportation of biomass that is used for energy or biofuel production.
A copy of the draft rules and other material can be found on the ODOE website at:
http://www.oregon.gov/ENERGY/RENEW/Biomass/Biomass-Producer_Advisory_Committee.shtml. The public comment period for this project will end on Thursday, August 18.
