Akron, Ohio, based manufacturer of corrugated packaging Buckeye Corrugated completes purchase of Empire State Container and T&T Packaging of Syracuse, New York

AKRON, Ohio , July 1, 2011 (press release) – Buckeye Corrugated, Inc. (BCI) completed the purchase of Empire State Container, Inc. and T&T Packaging LLC, Syracuse, NY, on June 30, 2011.

Empire started in 1979 and was previously owned by Jim Trombino and Syd Tenenbaum. Since its inception, Empire has been regarded as one of the leading independent sheet plants in central New York, providing exceptional service and products to its customers.
