Dole Fresh Fruit Company, a subsidiary of Dole Food Company Inc., the world’s largest producer and marketer of fresh produce, today announced the signing of a new contract for pallet pooling services with CHEP, an industry leader in pallet and container pooling solutions.

Dole is now transporting bananas on CHEP pallets from processing facilities in Costa Rica, Guatemala and Honduras to supermarkets, wholesale clubs and distributors in the USA and Canada. Dole has used CHEP pallets for its USA-based fresh vegetable business since 2006.
All of the CHEP pallets Dole uses to transport its bananas from Central America to the USA and Canada are in full compliance with ISPM-15 phytosanitary regulations.
