The Dutch National Bank (De Nederlandsche Bank - DNB) has awarded De La Rue International Ltd one of three framework agreements for the supply of Euro banknotes for 2012. The framework agreement can be extended three times beyond 2012 for a period of one year on each occasion and allows the Joint European Tender (JET) Group within the Eurosystem to order Euro banknotes on the same terms. The JET Group comprises DNB and the Central Banks of Cyprus, Estonia, Finland, Luxembourg, Malta, Slovenia and Slovakia.
This important agreement demonstrates the on-going confidence in De La Rue of our key central bank customers and we look forward to working with De Nederlandsche Bank on their banknote supply.
De La Rue is the largest commercial banknote printer and papermaker and is involved in the production of over 150 national currencies. The company is security and quality accredited for Euro production at its UK paper, hologram and printing manufacturing facilities.
