Novelis completes offer to exchange all its outstanding US$1.1B aggregate principal amount of 8.375% senior notes due 2017, US$1.4B aggregate principal amount of 8.75% senior notes due 2020

– Novelis Inc., the world's leading producer of aluminum rolled products, today announced that it has completed its offer to exchange all of its outstanding $1.1 billion aggregate principal amount of 8.375% Senior Notes due 2017 and $1.4 billion aggregate principal amount of 8.75% Senior Notes due 2020 for new 8.375% Senior Notes due 2017 and 8.75% Senior Notes due 2020 that have been registered under the Securities Act of 1933.
The exchange offer expired at 5 p.m. Eastern Time on April 13, 2011. All of the 8.375% Senior Notes due 2017 and 8.75% Senior Notes due 2020 were validly tendered and accepted for exchange.
The exchange offer was performed pursuant to registration rights agreements entered into as part of the financing transaction completed in December 2010 and does not represent a new financing transaction.
