Hamburger Hungaria has recently assigned PMT Italia to the installation of a new Film Size Press into its PM3 at Dunaujvaros.PM3 produces Fluting and Test Liner in a basis weight range of 90 to 175 g/m2 on a 4.730 mm wide wire and with a maximum operating speed close to 1.000 m/min.
The rebuild, scheduled for August 2011, will improve PM3’s specific energy consumption and runnability and upgrade its sizing process by means of PMT’s latest starch metering technology.
