Cristal Global (Cristal) announced today that it will increase prices on all of its anatase and rutile Tiona® and Cristal titanium dioxide (TiO2) products sold in North America and the Middle East, Africa and Asia Pacific sub-regions effective April 1st, 2011, or as contracts allow.
* In North America: Prices for all Tiona® and Cristal titanium dioxide (TiO2) products will increase by US fifteen cents per pound.
* In the Middle East and Africa: Prices for all Tiona® and Cristal titanium dioxide (TiO2) products will increase by US $300 per metric ton and in North Africa by €225 per metric ton.
* In Asia Pacific: Prices for all Tiona® and Cristal titanium dioxide (TiO2) products will increase by US $300 per metric ton. In Oceania, prices for all Tiona® and Cristal titanium dioxide (TiO2) products will increase by Australian $300 per metric ton or by US $400 per metric ton in the US Dollar markets. An additional US $50 per metric ton will be applied to all sales of Tiona 188 grade sold within the Asia Pacific region.
The increases are in addition to earlier announcements.
