VANCE, Alabama , December 31, 2011 () – A 22-year-old worker has been killed by a falling log at a timber company in Vance.

Tuscaloosa Police Sgt. Kip Hart said the accident happened Friday morning at KyKenKee Inc., a timber company located on Highway 11.
