Thiele Kaolin to increase price on kaolin products by 5% for all markets, effective Jan. 1

SANDERSVILLE, Georgia , November 16, 2010 (press release) – Thiele Kaolin Company announced today that it will implement a price increase on kaolin products for all markets, effective January 1, 2011. Prices will increase by 5% where contracts allow.

“As chemical, power, transportation and other manufacturing costs continue to escalate, it has become necessary for Thiele to increase prices,” said Eric Tillirson, Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Thiele Kaolin Company. “Thiele continues to aggressively pursue cost reductions through focused internal programs.”
