NEW YORK , September 28, 2010 (press release) – Tanker operator Overseas Shipholding Group Inc. said Friday it was making changes to focus on core segments of crude oil, products and U.S.-flagged shipping.

The company said it would move its stand-alone liquefied natural gas carrier fleet under the international product carrier business unit.

Overseas said the head of its gas unit, Marc La Monte, had left the company. Technical management of the LNG fleet remained under Ian T. Blackley, a senior vice president and head of international shipping. The product carrier unit is led by senior vice president Lois K. Zabrocky.

The company named Christian Skovhoj, 36, vice president of the OSG Ship Management unit, where he was head of sale and purchase.

Overseas shares rose $1.67, or 5.2 percent, to close at $34.06.
