China's Fujian Nanping Paper reports 65.1% year-over-year gain in operational income in H1, to US$139.1M

BEIJING , August 25, 2010 () – Fujian Nanping Paper Co. said its performance turned around in first-half 2010, posting operational income of 946 million yuan (US$139.1 million), which was up 65.1% from a year earlier, according to the company’s mid-year report issued on Aug. 22.

In the first six months of this year, Fujian Nanping Paper, which is located in Nanping City, in China’s Fujian province, also recorded 2.6 million yuan of net profit and a per share gain of 0.004 yuan. In the same period of 2009, the company reported losses totaling 164 million yuan.
