Reno de Medici mills announces availability of FSC-certified recycled cartonboard products, certification of mills in Germany, Italy and Spain

PARIS , June 28, 2010 (press release) – In order to consolidate its European position in sustainable packaging, RDM is proud to announce the availability of its recycled cartonboard products certified with FSC recycled label. This will provide a further credential within the raw material sourcing in an already environmentally friendly supply chain.

RDM Blendecques already certified since 2008, is joined by RDM Arnsberg mill in Germany, Santa Giustina, Villa Santa Lucia, Magenta and Ovaro mills in Italy, and RDM Almazan in Spain. This important commitment answers the demand of the converters and end users, willing to certify the whole supply chain from the fibres to final packed product. It shows again the virtuous image of the recycled cartonboard industry for folding boxes.

All customers who require the added benefit of this demanding and prestigious label must specify at time of ordering and it will carry a 20 euros per tonne upcharge.
