OBERKIRCH, Germany , May 28, 2010 (press release) – Papierfabrik August Koehler AG has announced that it must increase the price for reacto® carbonless paper by 8 to 10%, for deliveries from July 1st onwards. Despite the already realised increases during the course of this year the current sales prices are not sufficient to cover the exorbitant increase of pulp and other costs.

With the 11th increase of pulp prices within 12 months pulp prices have reached a historical high. Only within this year costs for pulp went up by 60%. This dramatic development could not be foreseen to such an extent and therefore another prompt adjustment of sales prices is necessary.
