CHAM, Switzerland , September 17, 2009 (press release) – Speciality paper manufacturer Cham Paper Group is going to present three ground-breaking innovations at Labelexpo Europe in Brussels from 23 to 26 Sep-tember 2009. The new products Silico Premium, Visualjet and Adicar Fluo, which are going to be introduced at this most important label exhibition, set a new standard in the world of printing, labelling and packaging. The main focus is on innovative product applications and environmen-tally friendly processes.

1. Silico Premium: Without Polyethylen The speciality paper Silico Premium is a sustainable alternative to polyethylen-coated papers. Such papers are normally used as high quality release liners for the adhesion of advertisements and graphic designs to vehicles, for exhibition stand construction and outdoor advertising. On the one hand, the environmentally friendly Silico Premium is a real alternative to polyethylen-coated papers and contributes substantially to a reduction waste costs. On the other hand those responsible for branded goods get the opportunity to implement their sustainability strat-egy. Additionally, the efficiency and reliability of the production process are increased and cus-tomers benefit from lower production costs.

2. Visualjet: New options for digital imaging Visualjet is the first speciality paper produced in series with the new curtain coater technology. This product satisfies the modified needs of the advertising industry for small individualised se-ries and single posters. The effects of posters printed on Visualjet are double sided: First, they serve as an advertising space in shop windows and thus attract potential customers passing by. Second, they serve as a medium displaying the same message on the inside of the shop. Out-door advertising posters are used for billboards and in backlit display cases such as can be found at bus stops and in railway stations. Even though Visualjet was launched only four months ago it already has an established customer base.

3. Adicar Fluo: invisible security Adicar Fluo is the response of Cham Paper Group to product piracy. This speciality paper makes fraud immediately visible under ultraviolet light by means of ultraviolet identification marks. This product will be used in the production of stamps, for instance. It enables the post to check the authenticity of stamps under ultraviolet light in a quick and easy way. Apart from the post, a vast range of industries with low security needs can benefit from Adicar Fluo.

Innovations are presented in experience centres At the Labelexpo Cham Paper Group is going present itself with its new logo and its new corpo-rate identity 'More than Paper'. The advantages of Silico Premium, Visualjet and Adicar Fluo are going to be presented to interested visitors in specifically designed experience centres. One of these experience centres is a climate chamber showing the characteristics of the Cham spe-ciality papers under changing environmental conditions. Another one is an ultraviolet light cen-tre where visitors can check the entry codes of their tickets. Last but not least there will be dis-play cases with backlit posters.
