The U.S. International Trade Commission (USITC) is a federal agency that provides trade expertise to the legislative and executive branches of government, determines the impact of imports on United States industries. In addition it directs actions against unfair trade practices such as patent, trademark, and copyright infringement. The commission was formerly known as U.S. Tariff Commission.
