Cham Paper shareholders vote to waive dividend due to company situation, elects Urs Ziegler as new vice chairman of the board replacing René Furler, elects Niklaus Peter Nüesch as new member of board

CHAM. Switzerland , April 25, 2012 (press release) – The 100th General Meeting of Shareholders of Cham Paper Group Holding AG took place today in Hünenberg. At this General Meeting of Shareholders a total of 66.69% of the voting share capital was represented.

All the proposals submitted by the Board of Directors were adopted by a clear majority. In particular the shareholders accepted the dividend waiver proposed by the board on account of the extraordinary situation in which the company currently finds itself.

After serving a term spanning the last twelve years, Dr. René Furler withdrew from the Board of Directors. Urs Ziegler will be taking over the office of vice chairman of the board. Niklaus Peter Nüesch was newly elected to the board. All the other board members were confirmed in office for another one-year term.

The 101st General Meeting of Shareholders will take place on 24 April 2013.
