Penguin Random House (PRH) and Little Free Library (LFL) have announced their collaborative activities in honor of Banned Books Week. Through this partnership, PRH will sponsor ten Little Free Library book-sharing boxes to be granted to high-need communities across the U.S. via LFL’s Impact Library Program. Additionally, PRH will provide over 2,000 banned and diverse books, encompassing more than 30 titles, for these libraries. The collection will include a diverse range of both adult and children’s titles. Partnering with Little Free Library to promote banned books is a wonderful initiative that aligns with Penguin Random House’s commitment to intellectual freedom and the promotion of diverse voices. Little Free Library, with its extensive network of community book-sharing boxes, provides an excellent platform for making banned books accessible to a wider audience. Some of the titles featured in the project include: Locations for the new banned books Libraries include Miami, FL, Nashville, TN, Houston, TX, Washington, DC and more.
