Flint Group’s Sustainability Report 2023 details its performance in critical areas of social, economic, and environmental responsibility. This is the company’s first Sustainability Report since 2020. “Sustainability is increasingly important to all our stakeholders, and we intend to support them by striving for higher levels of economic, environmental, and social sustainability across all segments of the printing industry where we operate,” CEO Steve Dryden said in the report. The company’s PRISM platform is a framework that breaks down sustainability into three areas where the company can enact positive change: product, planet, and people. The report highlights the company’s greenhouse gas emissions, water consumption and waste management goals, as well as progress made on these goals in 2022. Governance and accountability are also top initiatives, with Flint Group committing to the Science Based Targets Initiiative and working to improve its EcoVadis rating by seven points from 2021 to 2022. Here are Industry Intelligence's top takeaways from the report, which was published on Dec. 18, 2023.
