Brother Industries, Ltd. (President: Ichiro Sasaki) has formulated the Brother Group Human Rights Global Policy in order to clearly declare its stance of respecting human rights and to further promote its activities in light of changes such as in international social demands. In 2012, Brother established the Brother Group Principles of Social Responsibility as a company that operates globally, defining and acting on its social responsibilities, including respect for human rights. In addition, Brother has made "pursuing a responsible value chain" one of its materialities, respecting the human rights of all people involved in its business and preventing negative impacts on human rights throughout the value chain. In order to further clarify its stance of respecting human rights, the Brother Group has formulated and published the Brother Group Human Rights Global Policy, which has been approved by the Sustainability Committee.
