Biotech company adopts EyeC print inspection solution to improve process safety, traceability, efficiency, cost savings; solution includes EyeC Proofiler DT 400 with barcode, braille option, Proofiler DT 1200 with barcode option, pharmaceutical workflow

HAMBURG , August 15, 2023 (press release) –

As a leading provider of innovative print inspection solutions, EyeC supports customers worldwide in improving quality and efficiency throughout the entire printing process. To this end, the company offers a broad portfolio of solutions for printers, publishers, packaging manufacturers and pharmaceutical companies.

Among them is a biotechnology company - a global leader in biotechnology products - for whom process and quality improvements, as well as efficiency gains, are always among the most important components of the company's continuous improvement process. The pharmaceutical player was looking for an experienced partner who could offer them an innovative solution and sustainably improve their processes.

EyeC proved to be the ideal partner, offering a comprehensive solution aimed at improving process safety, stability, and traceability, saving costs and time, and increasing the efficiency and effectiveness of existing processes.

The comprehensive solution consists of two inspection systems: an EyeC Proofiler DT 400 with a barcode and Braille option, and a Proofiler DT 1200 with a barcode option and pharmaceutical workflow. This combination allows operators to work independently at two scan stations. The data is merged on a CCL server, which also serves as a source for the time-independent evaluation of the suspect sites with the Inspection Station.

By using EyeC's customized inspection solution, the biotech company was able to achieve a significant process improvement and an increase in efficiency. The quality of the packaging as well as the error rate improved significantly with the help of EyeC's solutions. This led to cost savings, faster product deliveries and a further minimization of customer complaints. Thanks to EyeC’s solutions, the company was able to raise its quality standards, increase its efficiency and improve its competitiveness.
