The bookseller also highlights four new Albums of the Month and their newest Game of the Month New York, NY – February 26, 2025 – Barnes & Noble is thrilled to announce the newest books, music and games to be featured in Barnes & Noble bookstores across the country. Broken Country is the March National Book Club pick and the bookseller welcomes readers to join author Clare Leslie Hall at a free live virtual event on Tuesday, April 1st at 3PM ET. The author will be in conversation with Lexie Smyth, Category Manager for Fiction at Barnes & Noble to discuss the title as well as answer questions from audience members. Attendees must register via Eventbrite to access the livestream on Zoom. Broken Country is a can’t-miss for those who lingered on the pages of Delia Owens’ Where The Crawdads Sing. The Artist to Watch goes to Lola Young’s This Wasn’t Meant For You Anyway, available in a transparent red Vinyl. Featuring the infectious track “Messy,” the English singer-songwriter is ready to break into the American music scene with her edgy pop gems. Sharon Van Etten & The Attachment Theory take home the Alternative Monthly Pick for their eponymous album, available as a B&N Exclusive Edition featuring an amethyst colored swirl Vinyl. Collaborating with her band, singer-songwriter, musician, and actress Sharon Van Etten reinvents herself in her latest, bringing dancefloor energy tinged with ‘80s synth. Alternative folk titans The Lumineers take the Americana Monthly Pick for their newest album, Automatic. The band’s fifth studio album, this is currently available as a B&N Exclusive featuring an orchid white Vinyl with violet and baby blue splatter designs. Explore love, heartbreak, and everything in between with their signature catchy hooks. The Rock Monthly pick goes to the groundbreaking folk-punk classic, Violent Femmes, by the band of the same name, which includes their hit single “Blister in the Sun”.
