We are delighted to announce that as of 1st November 2022, Wessex Packaging has acquired Surepack (Bristol) Ltd. This exciting development means that Surepack has now become part of WP Industrial Ltd. (trading as Wessex Packaging) and that Surepack will benefit from Wessex’s wider product range and global supply chain. Surepack is one of the best known and well-respected independent distributors of pallet film in the UK. Founded and run by Chuen Lau since 1999, Surepack in based in Bristol and serves commercial manufacturing, logistics and supply chain companies with a wide range of high-performance films, polythene products and pallet wrapping machines, throughout the UK. Wessex Packaging has its HQ and National Distribution Centre in Somerset, is a natural fit to join with Surepack. As a national wholesale packaging business, and experts in pallet wrap and load stability products, Wessex works in partnership with national and multinational companies across the UK. The synergy of products, knowledge, and national distribution network will ensure that Surepack and Wessex are best placed to provide an increased level of customer service to companies and across the country. Chuen, and the team at Surepack, wanted to ensure that only the right company would continue the high quality of service to their customers. Wessex shares very similar values to Surepack, and the agreement guarantees that this personal, highly-expert and professional relationship will continue. Wessex was established in 1975, is now one of the UK’s leading independent packaging companies, and it remains family owned and run. There will be no change for existing Surepack customers or the Surepack Packaging brand. Surepack will continue to operate from Tower Lane, Warmley, Bristol, with the existing contact details of sales@surepack.co.uk and 01179 608 706. Chuen Lau and Tina Woodberry will also continue to be the main points of contact for Surepack’s orders, advice and customer service.
