SIRANE will be represented at Interpack for the first time – as we join partners Sappi on their stand. The focus will be on coated papers as a flexible packaging solution. Rachel McKenna, Innovation & Business Development Manager for Sirane, said: “For Interpack 2023, Sirane Group will be showcased on Sappi Group’s stand within a partner display – and if you’re heading to the show, it offers a great opportunity to come and talk with us. “Using Sirane’s in-house developed technologies and expertise with water-based coating systems, this partnership allows Sappi’s papers to be further converted and printed for a wide range of packaging applications including both food and non-food. The display will demonstrate Sirane’s conversion capabilities to the flexible packaging market.” Please feel free to speak to us about our new digital offset HP Indigo 200k Beta Press and its capabilities – we’re only of only three companies worldwide with this technology. Our Earthfilm range includes coated papers, which can be supplied as flow-wrap film or pre-formed stand-up pouches (Earthpouch). They have impressive barrier properties, they are plastic-free – and are easily recyclable in the paper recycling stream. Sirane offers a huge range of packaging solutions, including absorbency, board and flexibles – and we would of course be happy to talk to visitors about any of our packaging. Other recent product developments include recyclable salmon and cake boards, ovenable Earhpouches (Earthpouch Supreme) and recyclable paper-based absorbent pads. Representatives from Sirane including Karl Heggarty, Global Sales Director, and Rachel McKenna, Innovation and Business Development Manager, will be in attendance.
