Coveris is a Flexographic Technical Association (FTA) Europe Diamond Award winner. Celebrating the best of flexographic print in the continent, Coveris was presented with the 1st Diamond Award in the ‘Flexo Print on Film, Medium Web’ category. Bringing together the European flexographic industry, the prestigious FTA Europe Diamond Awards took place on Thursday 5th May in a glittering ceremony in Milan. Coveris was awarded the top prize in the ‘Flexo Print on Film, Medium Web’ category with packaging printed for UK retailer M&S. Manufactured at Coveris’ site in Burnley, UK, the design for M&S All Butter Belgian Chocolate Chunk and Hazelnut Cookies provides the opportunity to showcase outstanding expertise in flexographic print. Mark Hughes, Coveris Flexibles Print Development Manager, said, “We are very honoured to receive an FTA Europe Diamond Award and extremely proud of our team at Coveris Burnley. This award recognises Burnley’s print as the best in Europe in this category, reflecting the commitment, expertise and efforts of our team as we strive for industry-leading quality.” Coveris advanced to the FTA Europe Diamond Awards competition after qualifying as a UK national award winner.
