Ultimate-Tech, frontrunner in imposition, nesting and finishing automation, is excited to announce the appointment of Greg Bane as an automation expert for Wide Format, Labels, and Packaging Manager. Bane brings many years of extensive experience in the graphic arts industry, most recently serving the past twelve years as Channel Manager at Aleyant Systems, where he managed partnerships, worked alongside channel partners, sales teams, and helped lead marketing initiatives for the company’s Web-to-Print, MIS, and Preflight software solutions.

“Greg’s deep knowledge of the graphic arts industry, combined with his long-standing relationships within the community, makes him an ideal fit for this role,” said Julie Watson, CEO of Ultimate-Tech. “His extensive experience in sales, marketing, and partnerships will play a critical role in advancing our wide format, labels, and packaging initiatives. We are thrilled to welcome him to our team.”

Bane began his career in the graphic arts industry at AlphaGraphics, where he quickly became known for his innovative approach and enthusiasm for new technologies. Reflecting on his career, Bane shared, “Throughout my career, I’ve been involved with the development and implementation of groundbreaking technology, from the early days of the desktop publishing to cutting-edge solutions in variable data printing, web-to-print, and workflow automation. I’m excited to join Ultimate Tech and help drive the growth of its automation software products, including Ultimate Impostrip and Ultimate Bindery.”

Additionally, he brings valuable hands-on experience from his time as a co-owner of a quick print shop and the manager of an electronic prepress department at a large four-color commercial print shop early in his career. “Having operated a printing business has given me the understanding of the challenges today’s printers face, especially when it comes to improving efficiency and staying competitive,” Bane noted. “I’m excited to be a part of Ultimate Tech and look forward to helping the company grow in 2025 and beyond by offering innovative automation solutions that meet the evolving needs of the graphic arts market.
