Due to ongoing inflationary pressures across most cost categories, including freight and storage, energy, labor, packaging materials, PET resin feedstocks, and other operating costs, Toray Plastics (America) is announcing a price increase of $0.12/lb. on all PET film products effective with shipments on or after April 1, 2022.
As you are aware, we at Toray always strive to improve productivity and to reduce internal costs so that such measures can generally be avoided. However, in this highly unusual economic climate, this step has become necessary to allow us to maintain our long-term ability to provide industry-leading technology and product quality while offering the reliable service upon which our customers have come to rely.
