Jenna Bush Hager announces her next Book Club Pick.
Jenna Bush Hager announced that her Read With Jenna Book Club Pick for December 2024 is DEVOTIONS (Penguin Press) from beloved Pulitzer Prize- and National Book Award-winning poet Mary Oliver.
The news was announced Wednesday, December 4, live on the Today Show as well as online and on social media.
Of her selection of Devotions and love for Mary Oliver’s poetry, Jenna says, “I find [Mary’s] poetry to be so cathartic and beautiful . . . I love her work. It’s about nature and love and what it means to be human.”
Devotions, originally published in 2020, is the culmination of Mary Oliver’s best work—a collection that spans more than five decades of her career. From finding peace among the trees to reflecting on the birds in the sky or the waves of the sea, Oliver has inspired and touched countless readers with her beautiful, timeless work.
