Scottish oat milk brand Three Robins has entered a strategic partnership with leading gluten-free oats producer Glebe Farm Foods to bring its milk alternatives to the market at scale.

Three Robins offers three flagship products designed for families — Choccoriffic Oat Mylk, Barista Oat Mylk, and Barista Pro Oat Mylk. Under the agreement, Glebe Farm will produce the milk alternatives at its facilities, thus broadening its portfolio and helping retailers and food service operators cater to a wider audience.

Three Robins chose Glebe Farm due to its extensive experience in oat-based food and drink and stringent allergen-free manufacturing process. The company has a fully controlled gluten-free supply chain, from farming and milling to final distribution. Each batch of oats is tested to ensure gluten levels stay below 5ppm, a threshold significantly below the industry standard of 20ppm.

Making oat milk more accessible to families

Three Robins’ products are all made from Scottish oats and are free of gluten, dairy, and added sugars; they are also fortified with vitamins. Founder Karen Robinson was inspired to develop the milk alternatives after discovering that one of her sons was lactose-intolerant. She struggled to find an oat milk brand that was both nutritionally adequate for children and suitable for use in hot drinks, so she decided to create one.

Last year, Three Robins expanded its range with two oat milk-based fruit smoothie pouches for children.
