Star Micronics releases the newest mC-Print2 and mC-Print3 wireless printers featuring dual-band connection capability.

Star Micronics, an industry leader in POS and online ordering solutions, has created new models within the mC-Print family to offer the ultimate WLAN solution. With dual-band wireless technology, these printing solutions are perfect for any business in need of a wireless printing environment. Using the additional ethernet port of the mC-Print31W or 21W, other devices can also become wireless. This erases the need to connect the additional device directly to the router, which may be far away or in an inconvenient location. These innovative printing solutions support dual-band (2.4GHz / 5GHz). Networks that need long-distance coverage can use 2.4GHz. The more powerful 5GHz is best for reducing lag and interference, especially in busy kitchens with microwaves and hardware that compete for bandwidth on a 2.4Ghz network. By offering a choice to use one of the two frequencies, 2.4 GHz or 5 GHz, these Star printers provide maximum flexibility when connecting to an existing or new network.
