January 18, 2024 (press release) –
PLASTIC-FREE and recyclable ovenable papers have been added to Sirane’s sustainable Earth Packaging range.
Our Earthfilm Supreme is a sustainable alternative to greaseproof & siliconised papers which can also be used as a baking sheet.
Earthfilm Supreme is available in either white or brown Kraft, and the papers are ovenable at up to 200OC.
Karl Heggarty, global sales director, said: “There’s many reasons why food producers might choose to use an ovenable paper as part of their packaging, and this is a sustainable alternative for the market.
“Whether it is to stop the food sticking to the tray, or as a way of offering the consumer an easy way of lifting out the food to serve it, Earthfilm Supreme offers a sustainable alternative to the papers traditionally used.”
Earthfilm Supreme is food contact approved, and is paper recyclable, as well as being completely free of any plastics. Water-based coatings give the required grease/moisture resistance.
We can supply Earthfilm Supreme in any size or shape to suit.
