Pro Gest presents all the innovative solutions for packaging and the tissue sector at the Marca fair in Bologna;
The tissue sector accounts for 17% of the Group's business with volumes and turnover growing by +25% in 2023.

Pro-Gest, the most important Italian paper group, presents its innovative solutions in packaging and in the tissue sector at the Marca fair in Bologna: the latter is a sector which, despite the difficulties of the global market, records a 25% increase in overall volumes for the paper and converting part.

The Tolentino Tissue and World Cart companies , together with the Pro-Gest paper mills, which produce tissue paper for a volume of approximately 120 thousand tons per year, continue their growth in a period that promises to still be unstable in the packaging market. A result that demonstrates the Group's solidity and ability to adapt to the constantly evolving dynamics of the sector. The tissue business unit, made up of paper mills and converting, represented 17% of the Group's total volumes in 2023.

A strong push in the sector dates back to the first Covid and post-pandemic periods. Subsequently, during the energy crisis of 2022, the company adopted a proactive strategy and collaborated with customers and large-scale retail trade in a transparent way, making customers participate in the dynamics taking place. The private label market has reacted by sometimes decreasing margins with the aim of preserving relationships with consumers and acquiring market shares. This strategy has represented an effective response to the needs of the European market and has led to a constant increase in orders over the last three years.
