Nestlé names Scott Coles as managing director for confectionery in United Kingdom, Ireland; executive replaces Mark Davies who retires after 34-year tenure

Nestlé is pleased to announce the appointment of Scott Coles (above) as the new Managing Director for Nestlé Confectionery UK & Ireland . He takes over from Mark Davies , who is retiring after an impressive 34-year tenure with the company.

In his new role, Coles will join the leadership team, where he will “spearhead Nestlé’s efforts to expand market share and enhance value for both consumers and customers within the confectionery sector,” the supplier says.

Coles joined Nestlé in 1997, with his career spanning various roles across the business, including customer management, commercial finance and category development. He subsequently moved to Australia where he led the Oceania sales team before serving as managing director of nutritious snacks.

Speaking about his new position, Coles said: “It’s an honour to lead the UK and Ireland confectionery business at such an exciting time. With KitKat and Aerocelebrating 90 years, I’ll be joining our exceptional confectionery team to celebrate these brilliant brands as they continue to thrive on their milestone anniversaries.”
