Metsä Tissue does not add PFAS chemicals in its products, nor do the company’s pulp suppliers. The company does not use auxiliary substances or additives containing PFAS in its production process. As the origin of recycled paper cannot be traced all the way to the origin, suppliers do not issue a PFAS statement for recycled paper. No statements can be made about lubricants used in machinery nor of machinery parts as this information has not been collected up to this date. We have commissioned accredited institutes to carry out end product analyzes and the analysis are still ongoing.
