Tarja Heikkilä appointed as Product Manager of Metsä Spring
Metsä Spring has appointed Tarja Heikkilä, (MBA, International business management), as Product Manager as of 11 March 2022. In this new position she is working for the project focused on developing new 3D fibre products. More about the project here.
Before joining Metsä Spring, Mrs. Heikkilä has worked in various leading positions in packaging and food industry, and she has solid experience on developing and commercializing new packaging innovation for international food industry.
Metsä Spring is Metsä Group’s innovation company. Metsä Spring invests worldwide in promising young enterprises (startups) and conducts R&D activities also on its own. All ideas within the Metsä Spring portfolio must have a strong link to the Metsä Group business ecosystem. Hence, the goal of Metsä Spring is to strengthen the ecosystem in the long run.
Mrs. Heikkilä reports to Metsä Spring’s VP, Projects Jarkko Tuominen.
