As it becomes more difficult to separate fact from fiction online, the role of independent fact-checkers is more important than ever before.

On International Fact-Checking Day, here are three tips from Florian to protect yourself online:

❓Think critically. Don't believe something only because you want to believe it.
📲 Search to find other sources to back-up what you see online. 
📷 Looks to good to be true? Do a reverse image search to see where the photos you see online were originally shared.
