Visiting Croatia’s leading packaging group, LANA, is always an inspiring experience, offering insights into the dynamic world of high-quality printing and packaging. Recently, we had the privilege of visiting LANA’s Karlovac facility to review the performance of their latest machine, the R 706 LV EVOLUTION, which has been in full operation for a year.

LANA, a key supplier to global brands, consistently delivers premium packaging products we interact with every day. The company operates two main product lines, each designed to meet demanding industry needs with precision and efficiency. Their high-volume packaging line is powered by three advanced Manroland machines, all equipped with six printing units and a final coating module. Meanwhile, LANA is also a global leader in printing pharmaceutical inserts and booklets, using specialized Manroland machines with two-color printing units and perfecting modules.

Both product lines deliver superior print quality while maintaining eco-friendly standards. The state-of-the-art technology is exemplified by the three newest Manroland EVOLUTION machines, which are the backbone of LANA’s production.

A New Era of Printing: The EVOLUTION Machine

The latest addition to LANA’s lineup, the fully automated R 706 LV EVOLUTION, represents the pinnacle of modern printing technology. This B1 format combi machine features six printing units, a final coating module, and three interdeck dryers. Boasting cutting-edge inline measurement capabilities, simultaneous plate loading, and fully automated processes, the EVOLUTION operates at the forefront of efficiency and quality.
