Kruno Obrovac steps into Chief Operating Officer role at Greiner Bio-One, bringing over two decades of experience from Greiner's packaging division

Kruno Obrovac has taken over the position of Chief Operating Officer (COO) at Greiner Bio-One as of March 1, 2024. Obrovac, who has been responsible for operations at Greiner's packaging division for the past five years, has been instrumental in the expansion of the production network and the continuous improvement of operational processes.

With this internal management change, Greiner has succeeded in setting an example for career development within the company. His many years of management experience will contribute to the continued success of Greiner Bio-One.

Kruno Obrovac began his career with Greiner Packaging in 1996 as a production technician. Over the years, he held positions as Product Manager, Business Unit Manager and General Manager in Slovenia (2006-2009) and Serbia (Nova Pazova, 2010-2013). He then held key positions as Shareholding Manager, Vice President Southeast Europe, Vice President Operations and most recently as COO at Greiner Packaging. While working, Obrovac completed an MBA in Strategic Management & Corporate Entrepreneurship at the JKU Linz. He is
47 years old, married, has two daughters and lives in Upper Austria.
