Karndean Designflooring has won the 2024 ADEX Platinum Award for its wood-inspired designs for the Karndean LooseLay collection. The inspiration for the woods selected for the designs comes from all over the world, from European forests to those in coastal Australia.
The natural characteristics of the source materials are replicated and enhanced to create distinctive grains, textures and markings of the original wood in a range of color tones. The company also uses K-Wave friction-grip backing in its products, which helps keep the flooring in place, and it can be installed without full-spread adhesive and removed and reused easily.
