Kao is making a donation of €500,000 through UNHCR, the UN Refugee Agency, with plans to donate baby diapers, personal hygiene and sanitary products for use both in Ukraine and by refugees who have been displaced outside Ukraine
We at the Kao Group are shocked by the crisis in Ukraine and deeply saddened for the people of Ukraine and the millions of people forced to flee their homes.
Joining the global call for support in this humanitarian crisis Kao Corporation made a donation of €500,000 to UNHCR, the UN Refugee Agency for humanitarian assistance to those affected in Ukraine and neighbouring countries.
We also plan to donate Kao products such as disposable baby diapers, personal hygiene and sanitary products through Japanese industrial associations and other organisations to help people in Ukraine and in evacuation centeres in any way we can.
All Kao Group employees extend our deepest sympathies to the people of Ukraine. We will closely monitor the situation and decide on further measures.
