Prati presents DIGIFASTone, a digital finishing line for printed reels, which allows to produce value added labels, at high speed and with high precision. Versatile and with a quick set-up, it is also functional for short runs of promotional labels in the food & beverage, wine & spirits, cosmetics, personal and home care.

At Labelexpo Americas (Hall C 3529) it is displayed in a configuration consisting of an unwinder with automatic tension and end-of-reel control, web guide, digital screen unit, lamination unit. Then the laser die-cuttingprocesses, a 100% vision system for in-line quality control, cutting and rewinding follow.
“Converters – explains Matteo Bertoni, Prati area manager and DIGIFAST20000 product leader – asked us for a ‘non-stop solution’: completely digital, both in finishing and die-cutting. No special tools are required to run the machine. A quick set-up is ensured thanks to the laser die-cutting unit, which offers the enormous advantage of not imposing limits on the size and shape of the labels. In addition, the DIGIFASTone is configurable with a double shaft turret rewinder, in combination with the buffer ensuring a non-stop finishing. With the turret rewinder, the operator no longer worries about the rewinding cycle. His work is limited to loading the cores and collecting the finished reels”.

DIGIFASTone allows to carry out varnishing, die-cutting, counting, cutting and rewinding, processing a wide variety of materials: self-adhesive labels, clear-on-clear (including AD-MDO and UPM PP30), wrap-around labels, shrink sleeves, plastic films, unsupported paper and plastic materials, in a range of thicknesses from 12 to 350 microns.
Built by Prati with the new FUTURA open-platform technology and in line with the needs of Industry 4.0, DIGIFASTone generates a very small amount of waste material, significantly reduces set-up times and guarantees a register accuracy of 0.15 mm, even reaching 100 m/min in the configuration with laser die cutting.
Advantages that place the machine at the top of current standards, making it suitable even for short runs.

Prati will take part to the “The Digital Embellishment trail” organized at Labelexpo to explore the full range of digital decoration options, both stand-alone and inline, with live demonstrations, sample packs and experts on site to discuss how digital embellishment can transform a converting business.
Prati will wait for visitors for live demo.
