Increasing attention to the environment has led the ICT Group to adopt innovative policies also in the field of packaging with a focus on the use of plastic.

The project is based on 4 areas of intervention:

- Use of mono-material and recyclable packaging

- Packaging optimisation from product design

- Progressive introduction of recycled plastics

- Transparent communication to customers and consumers through labels

These initiatives have enabled Italian plants alone to reduce plastic consumption by more than 400,000 kg from 2019 to 2022,
estimating a reduction in emissions of about 2,400,000 kg CO2eq*, equivalent to about 2,800 flights between New York and London.

*According to an average European emission of 6 kg CO2eq x kg of plastic produced
